Despite being the largest machine in our compact range, the CR550 Hybrid Crusher remains just 1,270mm wide and weighs under 2,800kg. That means it can be towed on a standard trailer with a regular UK driving licence, making it an ideal solution for operators and hire shops looking to move between job sites quickly and easily.

Boost Operator Efficiency

The CR550 features a 560mm x 275mm jaw aperture, hydraulically adjustable to produce material from 3mm to 75mm at the press of a button. Operators can even choose jaw stroke direction to suit the material — an upward stroke for softer materials like tarmac or downward stroke for hard stone.

Remote Control as Standard

For added flexibility and safety, the machine comes with remote control operation as standard, allowing operators to track, position, and crush from outside the immediate work area or even from the cab of an excavator.

To maximise uptime, the CR550 Crusher is equipped with Dragon Equipment’s proven ‘no-stress’ and ‘anti-stall’ technology. These intelligent systems automatically reverse jaws or pause the feed to prevent blockages and protect the crusher box, allowing for smooth, uninterrupted operation.

The CR550 Crusher is designed for long days on site. A 33L fuel tank provides over 8 hours of continuous crushing, while maintenance is made simple with a hinged bonnet for easy access, a central greasing point, and an optional auto-greasing system.
